Next on our list of Avengers is the deadly assassin, Black Widow. Hot Toys always impresses with its attention to detail and likeness to the character. I personally do not own one but have my favorite character from Age of Ultron on pre-order. I can't wait to see one in person!

Fraggles and Joseph Gordon-Levitt

The road to a Fraggle Rock film started out as a dirt path in 2011 and has finally be made into a paved road in 2015! News broke today, in a Variety exclusive, that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will produce and star in the Fraggle Rock movie for New Regency!!!

First, we are huge fans of Fraggle Rock! Second, we love Joseph Gordon-Levitt. This match will hopefully produce a wonderful film that will allow everyone to dance there cares away one more time. And maybe lead to some more Fraggle projects.

“The first screen personas I ever loved were Henson creations, first on ‘Sesame Street,’ and then on ‘Fraggle Rock,'” Gordon-Levitt said. “Jim Henson’s characters make you laugh and sing, but they’re also layered, surprising, and wise. From Oscar the Grouch, to Yoda, to the Fraggles. I’ve never stopped loving his work, even as a young frisky man, and on into adulthood. Collaborating with Lisa Henson makes me confident we can do something that Jim would have loved. I’m grateful and excited to be working with New Regency on this project.” (from Variety)

Visions of Muppet Moments

Things of Interest for the Internet!

The Muppets will be making appearances on Disney Junior in a series called "Muppet Moments" starting with four shorts on April 3rd. This short series will focus on conversations between the muppets and children. The series is focused on audiences 2 to 7. Appearances include Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, the Great Gonzo, Animal, Beaker, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Rowlf, Bobo, the Newsman, Rizzo, Sam Eagle and Pepe the King Prawn! We're definitely excited to see the Muppets in this new series! Hopefully it will lead to more!

This does bring up an interesting question: Does Disney think the Muppets have the capacity to reach beyond the a young audience?

I'm curious if this is a test run for a new series or is it a way to reintroduce the characters in a new way to generate more interest in the Muppets for a new generation? In other words, kids don't really identify with or know these characters.

The series will start on April 3rd and a new daily short will air until May 8. New shorts will air throughout 2015 and will be available on watchdisneyjunior.go.com.
